20-minute drive from base. Taxi or dolmus (local bus) required for transfer at the end point.
Route Description
The trail follows clifftops above a dramatic coastline, with frequent platform-like viewpoints. At the 3.5-kilometre mark, the trail reaches a viewpoint directly above Kaputas Beach. Stairs cut into the cliff provide access to the beach. This is the designated swimming stop.
Loggerhead sea turtles are sometimes spotted swimming in the clear water far below. The walking continues along the cliffs in the afternoon.
Safety Protocols
- Clifftop Proximity: Exercise extreme caution near the cliff edges, especially in windy conditions.
- Beach Access: The stairs to Kaputas are steep but secure.
Logistics Tip
A short, inexpensive dolmus (mini-bus) runs frequently along the main road between Kas and Kalkan, making it easy to catch a ride back to your starting point after the walk.
