About This Experience
Saklıkent Canyon, meaning "Hidden City," is one of Turkey's deepest gorges, stretching for 18 kilometers through the Taurus Mountains. The canyon walls tower up to 300 meters high, creating a dramatic natural corridor.
Wade through the icy mountain stream that carved this spectacular gorge over millennia. The first section features wooden walkways attached to the canyon wall, followed by an adventurous section where you walk through knee-deep to waist-deep rushing water.
The canyon stays refreshingly cool even in summer, making it a perfect escape from coastal heat. For the adventurous, guided canyoning tours take you deeper into the gorge with climbing, rappelling, and swimming through natural pools.
