About This Experience
Kaputaş Beach is a stunning cove nestled between towering cliffs along the coastal road between Kaş and Kalkan. Its vivid turquoise waters and fine pebble beach make it one of the most photographed spots on the Turkish Mediterranean coast.
Access to the beach requires descending approximately 190 steps from the highway, but the spectacular views and crystal-clear waters make the effort worthwhile. The beach is small and can get crowded during peak season.
The dramatic gorge that opens onto the beach creates a natural amphitheatre effect, providing some afternoon shade from the cliffs. The water depth increases quickly, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
